Attention whole grain fans!  This class will be dedicated to breaking down the mechanics of using different grains in your breads to achieve the wholesome, hearty loaf you’ve always dreamed of!

Through his no-fuss approach, Brett Wiewiora, Co-Founder and Head Baker of Gulf Coast Sourdough, will demystify the mechanics of incorporating different grains into a recipe. He will also show how to add making great sourdough bread into anyone’s weekly routine - a.k.a the “Sourdough Lifestyle.”

All experience levels welcome, although some bread baking experience is recommended.  The only hard requirements are that you love great bread and are ready to get your hands doughy. :)

During this class, we’ll cover:

  • Important differences between grains
  • Techniques to make whole grains lighter
  • How to build your own unique recipe
  • Mixing & kneading dough the no-fuss way
  • Integrating sourdough into your routine
  • Basic bread shaping
  • Best ways to bake at home

And at the end, we’ll all enjoy some delicious bread baked during the class!
